Gisele Tatou performed the final steps of the experiment under the watchful eye of Madam Cousteau, the ancient and cross chemistry professor. Gisele was in her final year at the Sorbonne and about to receive her degree in chemistry. That she knew was for certain but hardly anything else was. With the war entering its third year it was hard what was going to happen to France and Paris. There had been times of despair and times of hope but now it seemed like one big stalemate. Neither of the two sides were going anywhere and it seemed like the war was going to last ten years.
